Charlotte Wood Illustrator

I am a freelance illustrator who creates unique, illustrations full of character, using traditional and digital means. Pen and inks, watercolours, acrylics and coloured papers are my main use of mediums.

My work is inspired by the natural world, as I grew up in the Highlands of Scotland. Often using found objects from nature in my artwork to create beautiful textures. The Impressionistic art movement also greatly inspires me, their use of colour, sensitivity and experimentation to record their view of the world.

I graduated from Swansea Metropolitan University with a BA hons Illustration Degree. During my studies and since graduating I have produced work for companies in the UK and throughout Europe within editorial and card publishing, mural art and advertising.

My work has been exhibited many times in Swansea and London including collective shows with beastcollective leading me to produce work for the world famous Quentin Blake. I was also selected for the New Designers show in London.

I hope that you enjoy looking through my work.
